Latest from the Parent's Association

Thanks to everyone who supported and helped the parents association in their fund-raising efforts in the last school year. From cake sales to carol singing, and summer event, we are most grateful for all assistance received.

We would like to welcome the new juniors and their parents to the school and hope that everyone will enjoy their time at Ballintotas school.

When we head into the a new school year, we issue letters to all parents regarding the family contribution. We thank everyone involved as this voluntary contribution helps to fund activities, new technology, sports equipment and much more for the children. The payment can be made annually or in three separate payments. Envelopes will issue at the due dates.

The committee will also organise events during the year to raise further funds. These events are so well supported by parents, families, and the local community that it is no wonder they are such a success. We thank everyone involved including committee members who give up their time to help organise events.

The Annual General Meeting of the Parents Association takes place on the second Tuesday of October at 8.30pm and monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month, also at 8.30pm. The venue for all meetings is at the school. Parents are welcome to attend the AGM and we look forward to meeting up and are always glad to see new faces. Being a committee member is a parents opportunity to meet other parents, to keep themselves informed of the happenings at school and to have an input into their children’s time in the school.

We thank everyone at the school, all teachers and staff, for everything that they do for our children. Our gratitude to the Principal and Vice-Principal for their support of the Parents Association and for giving up their time to meet with us.

We are very grateful to parents, families and to members of the local community. Without your valuable assistance and support we would be unable to provide resources for the school. We look forward to meeting up with you during the year.
