Flower Arranging Classes

Flower Arranging Classes hosted by Paula McAuliffe proved  a great success last Thursday with a very large number of participants. This week it's Week 2 on this Thursday October 12th with events commencing at 8pm (note time) in the Community Centre. A number of people have already signed up for these classes which will  be run for the next four weeks. To book your place please call 087-9050767. It is hoped that these forthcoming classes could become the prelude to the foundation of a Flower/Garden Club locally.

Ballintotis Community Centre was certainly a busy place on last Thursday as Flower Arranging classes got under way.  These classes continue for the next four Thursday evenings.

Harvest Thanksgiving Mass

This year's Harvest Thanksgiving Mass will take place on Friday week October 20th at St Colman's Church, beginning at 7.30pm. It is also the Station Mass for residents in Ballintotis, Ballyedkin and Farrentrenchard.

Also on that evening the Station Mass for Stumphill, Castleview, Churchtown, Whiterock and Dunsfort will be held in the home of Sheila Kelleher. Local Station Masses continue on the following week from Tuesday 24th to Friday 27th of October.

Walking Club

There certainly has been an expression of interest on a number of occasions to begin a Walking Club in Ballintotis, following in the footsteps of the very successful Fit4Life Club.  Martin Hackett is one of the people willing to take the first steps. Please call  086 0890841  if you are interested  in becoming involved in this proposed new group.
