Sciath Na Scol Final


Best Wishes to Ballintotis National School in this week's Sciath Na Scol Football Final. The big match takes place on this Wednesday October 25th against Inch N.S at Mayfield where throw- in is at 12.30pm.


Congratulations Barra


Congrats to Balliintotis native Barra O' Tuama who lined out with Imokilly in last Sunday's County Senior Hurling Final win over Blackrock at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. The coveted County Senior medal can now sit alongside the County Junior medal won with his club back in 2014.  Well done also to Barra's Castlemartyr colleagues Brian Lawton and Jimmy Smiddy (selector).


Festive Fayre

This year's Ballintotis Festive Fayre will take place on Sunday December 3rd from 11am to 4pm at the Community Centre. To book your stand please call  John on 086-8778182.  The Fayre is themed around Christmas gift ideas and already has created plenty of interest since last year's inaugural event. There is no charge for stands, but space is booking up, so don't delay in reserving your space.

Gentle Movement, Relaxation & Meditation Classes
The first of three hour long classes took place on last Sunday evening at Ballintotis Community Centre and was very well attended and very much enjoyed. These classes run from 8-9pm and continue on November 19th and December 10th
Time will be taken to draw inwards, focusing on easy movements & breath followed by stillness/meditation to close. 

Bring: A yoga mat & blanket to cover the body. Some mats will be available on the night. Text if you wish to have one of these. Plenty of chairs are available in the hall. You are welcome to attend just one night or all three Sunday evenings. (Cost: €5 per night)

Meeting To Form New Walking Club On Monday 23rd
A meeting to form a new Walking Club in Ballintotis took place on Monday evening of this week - more information is available by calling Martin Hackett on 086-0890841.


Flower Arranging Classes


This week it's Week 3 (after the postponement last week) on this Thursday October 26th with events commencing at 8pm (note time) in the Community Centre. A number of people have already signed up for these classes which are being run over five successive Thursdays. To book your place please call 087-9050767.

Noreen Runs Dublin Marathon For School Cause


Noreen Cashman is amongst the many locals who will run the Dublin City Marathon on this Sunday 29th October. In the process Noreen is raising funds for a new music keyboard for Ballintotis National School.  She hopes to get 100 people to contribute €5 each. Noreen really appreciates the support after many months of dedicated training. 


Fit4Life Club


As the nights have drawn to a close the club has now changed training nights to a Thursday night, meeting in Castlemartry School Hall at 7.15pm. Please make sure you wear a high-viz.   New members welcome. Best wishes to all the crew running the Dublin Marathon on Sunday.  Hope all goes to plan.
