Flower Arranging Classes
It's Week 5 on this Thursday October November 9th and suffice to say the event has been a great success under the guidance of Paula McAuliffe. It's the final class for the present but the good news is that a special 2 hour class will take place in mid December focused entirely on Christmas arrangements. It looks as if there is also a great demand for the continuation of the classes in the New Year. With this in mind, we may very well see the start of the Ballintotis Flower & Garden Club.
Please call 087-9050767 for more information re forthcoming classes.
A new 4 week Cookery Class will commence next week in the Community Centre on Thursday November 16th at 8pm. Healthy snacks, lunches, dinners and time saving tips will all feature on the menu. Please call 087-9050767 for more information or to book your place.

Congratulations to the Ballintotis Fit4 Life members who took part in the recent Dublin City Marathon. Hopefully all are now recovering and enjoying a well earned rest. Some of the Dublin brigade along with more club members are already looking forward to running either the Waterford Half Marathon on December 2nd or the Dungarvan 10 Mile Race in early February. Sunday week, November 19th also sees the start of the very popular Cloyne Commons 4K Winter Series. As usual it's a 9.30am start. Next Wednesday the 5K and 10K Run in the Dark Races take place in Cork City Centre at 9pm, whilst on this Sunday the Cork BHAA host the HSE 5K in Mahon at 11am. In the meantime, training for all club members takes place each Thursday from Castlemartyr National School beginning at 7.15pm. Please bring high viz.
