Many congratulations again to Josie Knowles on the occasion of reaching 50 years in the role of Sacristan at St Colman's Church Ballintotis. Rev. Monsignor Jim Killeen who celebrated 10am Mass on Sunday last paid a rich glowing to Josie at the end of Mass and his words were greeted by a well deserved standing ovation. Afterwards parishioners, family and friends gathered at Ballintotis Community Centre for light refreshments. Here John McCarthy on behalf of the local Community addressed the very large gathering whilst a presentation was made to Josie by Ballintotis Area Community Council.
